history

In 1986, Plasser & Theurer delivered the single item X627.951 for the 760-mm-gauge Mariazellerbahn , which was commissioned by the ÖBB in addition to the OBW 10 motor vehicle . This vehicle can also be used as a winter vehicle - a snow blower can be mounted on the cabin side and a wedge snow plow can be mounted on the crane side.

The front sides of the vehicle frame are provided with strong impact protection and have a central buffer coupling . The structure consists of a cabin with a driver's cab and a reduced loading area on which a loading crane is attached. The X627.951, like the other X627 and the two snow blowers ÖBB 2080 and ÖBB 2180, is also equipped with a rotating device.
