The result was the X534 series, which was further developed on the basis of the ÖBB X532 series to become one of the most common standard types . Bombardier , Tobisch and Knotz were responsible for the mechanical part , the electrical part was supplied by Asea Brown Boveri and Brown, Boveri & Cie . The vehicle received a Rothaum lift platform and was henceforth called the X534.101.

construction

The welded frame as well as the box structure were made of shaped steel and sheet metal, as in the previous series X532. The box, which consists of a large work area (larger than that of the previous series) and the driver's cab with the adjoining front structure, is supported on both axles by means of leaf springs . The box consists of a large working area (larger than the X532). The roof of the vehicle carries an earthing bracket and a lifting platform .
