Ölmühle is a district of the market Dentlein am Forst in the district of Ansbach in Middle Franconia .

Geographical location

The Einöde Ölmühle is about a kilometer south of the center of Dentlein and a little less upstream of the first houses on the left side of Großohrenbronn and on the right side of the Erlmühle on the right bank of the Leitenbach, also known as Erlbach, running south to Sulzach . The place, half-circled by a small eastern loop of creek, has two house numbers and some agricultural outbuildings. In the creek basin, meadows border the at about 456  m above sea level. NHN , opposite a chain of ponds drains into the brook, to the west there is some fields, behind which the Dentleiner forest soon begins.

An agricultural traffic route leads to Kleinohrenbronn to the district road AN 52 (0.6 km southwest) or the AN 53 (0.7 km northeast), which runs to Dentlein (1 km north) and Erlmühle (0.7 km south) .

history

The place was originally in the Fraisch district of the Ansbach Oberamt Feuchtwangen . From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the Justice and Chamber Office Feuchtwangen . With the community edict (early 19th century), the oil mill was assigned to the tax district and the rural community of Dentlein.
