history
Großohrenbronn was in the Fraisch district of the Ansbach Oberamt Feuchtwangen . In 1732 the place consisted of 12 properties with 13 teams (1 farm , 6 farms, 3 Sölden houses , 1 little house with double crew, 1 little house). There was also 1 Catholic chapel with a hermitage and 1 shepherd's house used by the community. The village and township government had the Oettingen-game bergische Oberamt Dürrwangen held, which is also the sole landlord was over all property. Until the end of the Old Kingdom nothing changed in the situation. From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the Justice and Chamber Office Feuchtwangen .
With the community edict (early 19th century) Großohrenbronn was assigned to the tax district and the rural community Dentlein.
