geography

The Mittelbach (called Feldbach in the lower reaches) flows through the village and feeds a pond in the village and flows further east as a right tributary into the Lassenbach. In the south is the Ochsenhorn forest, in the north the Muschelholz forest.

Municipal roads lead to Leichsenhof (0.5 km northeast), to the district road AN 52 near Unterahorn (1 km northwest) and crossing the state road 2222 to Dentlein (2 km south).

history

Kaierberg was in the Fraisch district of the Ansbach Oberamt Feuchtwangen . In 1732 the place consisted of 16 properties (1 grinding mill, 1 Gütlein with cone and baking law, 14 Gütlein). There was also 1 house of the von Völderndorf family and 1 shepherd's house. The Thürnhofen manor held the village and community rulership and lordship over all properties . Nothing in these conditions changed until the end of the Old Kingdom . From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the Justice and Chamber Office Feuchtwangen .

With the community edict (early 19th century) Kaierberg was assigned to the tax district and the rural community Thürnhofen . As part of the regional reform in Bavaria , this was initially incorporated into Aichau on April 1, 1971 . On January 1, 1972, this was dissolved and Kaierberg was incorporated into Dentlein.
