history

Obermosbach was in the Fraisch district of the Ansbach Oberamt Feuchtwangen . In 1732 the place consisted of 7 properties and 1 shepherd's house belonging to the municipality. The Ansbach administration office Forndorf held the village and community rulership . The landlords were the Forndorf administration office (2 half yards, 2 small farms, 1 small house), the Eichstättischen Stiftskapitel Herrieden (1 small farm) and the imperial city of Dinkelsbühl (1 small farm). Around 1800 the imperial city of Dinkelsbühl no longer had any landlord claims, but Feuchtwangen had 6 properties. From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the Justice and Chamber Office Feuchtwangen .

With the community edict (early 19th century) Obermosbach was assigned to the tax district Wieseth and the rural community Dentlein am Forst .
