(64291) Anglee is an asteroid of the main middle belt discovered on October 23, 2001 by the Canadian astronomer of Hong Kong origin William Kwong Yu Yeung at the Desert Eagle Observatory near Benson , Arizona ( IAU code 333). There had already been unconfirmed sightings of the asteroid in June 1999 (1999 LR 30 ) at the Steward Observatory's outstation on Kitt Peak .

(64291) Anglee was named on June 7, 2009 after the American - Taiwanese film director Ang Lee .
