(73767) Bibiandersson is an asteroid of the inner main belt , which was discovered on August 10, 1994 by the Belgian astronomer Eric Walter Elst at the La Silla Observatory of the European Southern Observatory in Chile ( IAU code 809).

The asteroid belongs to the Hungaria group . The 9: 2 orbital resonance with the planet Jupiter is characteristic of this group . The namesake for the Hungaria group is the asteroid (434) Hungaria . The solar orbit of (73767) Bibiandersson is steeply inclined at more than 24 ° to the ecliptic of the solar system , another characteristic of Hungaria asteroids. According to the SMASS classification ( Small Main-Belt Asteroid Spectroscopic Survey ), a spectroscopic study by Gianluca Masi , Sergio Foglia and Richard P. Binzel at (73767) Bibiandersson assumed a bright surface, so it could, roughly speaking, be around trade an S asteroid .

The asteroid was named on April 15, 2014 after the Swedish actress Bibi Andersson (1935-2019). Her play in the film Wilde Erdbeeren ( 1957 ) by director Ingmar Bergman is particularly emphasized in the dedication . The asteroid of the outer main belt (10378) Ingmarbergman, also discovered by Eric Walter Elst, was named after Bergman in 2000 .
