24-Autohöfe is a brand of 24-Autobahn-Raststätten GmbH (24 AR). It is used for privately run motorway rest stops on German motorways .
The company develops, realizes and rents out largely systemized truck stops equipped with a consistent operating concept . These have a corporate identity profile for different owners and investors.
The brand's truck stops have a total of 2500 parking spaces for cars and trucks, 1500 seats in catering areas, 1500 m² petrol station and travel shop space as well as 80 shower and washing facilities.
history
In 1997, the 24-Autobahn-Raststätten GmbH was founded by Alexander Ruscheinsky with its headquarters in Regensburg. A year later, various catering modules were developed for truck stops. In 1999 the 24-car stop Wernberg-Köblitz ( A93 ) was opened. The 24 manual was issued in 2000 for all operational procedures of the 24 truck stops. Four years after it was founded, the first award was given to the 24 truck stops, the award for innovative transport catering design.
In 2002, an open purchasing community was set up in the areas of shop and restaurant for truck stops, restaurants and petrol stations. A year later, in 2003, the first “ Barefoot Path ” was awarded. (Additional wellness benefit in the 24-Autohof Gramschatzer Wald ) In 2004, the first German motorway discount card was brought onto the market together with a cooperation partner. In the same year the 24-AR (Foundation for Street Children) was founded. In 2006 the first SUBWAY restaurant was opened on the autobahn in the 24-car stop in Gramschatzer Wald. Since 2008 there has been a parking space reservation option for trucks in the 24-car stop in Neumarkt . In 2009, another system-compatible catering module for truck stops, "BURGER'Z", was implemented in the Gramschatzer Wald truck stop. Gramschatzer Wald In 2010, the 24-Autohof Wernberg-Köblitz truck parking lot was expanded with the inauguration of the 400th additional truck parking space created by the Bavarian Minister of the Interior, Herrmann . In the next year the gastronomy module "CAFÉINO" was developed as a VITAL restaurant. In October 2017, the first Air Liquide hydrogen filling station in Baden-Württemberg went into operation at the 24 Bad Rappenau location .
In 2020, for the fourteenth time in a row, the official award for "Germany's best truck stop chain" was won.
Operating concept
The operating concept of the truck stops includes u. a .:

- Corporate Identity - a "24" brand identity with further development of the brand
- Gastro system with different, differently used, own gastromodules, such as "24-Fresh", "CAFÉINO", "BURGER'Z" or "PIZZA'z" and cooperation partners such as SUBWAY, McDonald's, PAULANER BIERGARTEN or Burger King
- Central services such as an advertising association , discount systems and a purchasing association
- Operator training for new tenants
The .BALLS Management KG will take over the marketing of the truck stops .

Electromobility and Hydrogen
The truck stops are taking on a pioneering role in the spread of alternative fuels, especially electromobility in Germany , due to the very good accessibility from both motorway driving directions and from the region .

In 2020, 24-Autobahn-Raststätten GmbH was awarded the “Best Autohof Chain in Germany” award by DEKRA and etm-Verlag for the fourteenth time in a row as a result of readers' polls in several specialist magazines .
