45-minute race at Laguna Seca 1981
The 45-minute race of Laguna Seca 1981 , also Datsun Monterey Tripple Crown (Camel GTU), Laguna Seca Raceway , took place on May 3rd of this year at the Laguna Seca Raceway . The race was the seventh round of the IMSA GTP series in 1981 and only counted towards the GTU class.
The race
The race in Laguna Seca was the second GTU championship run of the season. In the 45-minute race at Road Atlanta , Walt Bohren had won ahead of Lee Mueller , who this time reversed the order and clearly defeated his team-mate.
