Abraham Rubin Hercules Benrubi (born October 4, 1969 in Indianapolis , Indiana ) is an American actor who gained fame primarily through his participation in the American television series Emergency Room .

Life and accomplishments

The son of the renowned DJ Asher Benrubi was already enthusiastic about acting during his school days at Broad Ripple High School . After graduating from school, he made his acting debut in a small role in the four-part educational series Private Victories , which was commissioned by the United States Department of Education . Other small film roles followed, until six months later - in the early 1990s - he was offered the role of the eternally hungry Larry Kubiac in the series Parker Lewis - The Cool from School . In the television series Roseanne with Roseanne Barr, he played the young Dan Connor in flashbacks. He also played the nephew of Al Bundy in one episode of the series A Terribly Nice Family , and the third baby in a dream sequence in another episode .

The two-meter-tall man played a regular supporting role in the portrayal of Jerry Markovic in the successful doctor series Emergency Room . In 2003 he starred as the good-natured Moses in Kevin Costner's Western Open Range .
