Ade Mafe
Ade Mafe (actually Adeoye Olubunm Mafe ; born November 12, 1966 in Isleworth, London Borough of Hounslow ) is a former British sprinter .
In 1984 he won over 200 meters silver at the European Indoor Championships in Gothenburg and finished eighth in the 1984 Olympic Games . In 1985 he won silver at the World Indoor Games in Paris over the same distance .
In 1989 he won over 200 meters gold at the European Indoor Championships in The Hague and silver at the World Indoor Championships in Budapest . He won bronze over this distance in 1990, starting for England , at the Commonwealth Games in Auckland and in 1991 at the World Indoor Championships in Seville .
Over 400 meters he was sixth at the 1992 European Indoor Championships in Genoa and reached the quarter-finals at the World Championships in Stuttgart .
