Marcin Urbaś (born September 17, 1976 in Kraków ) is a former Polish sprinter who had his greatest successes in the 200-meter run .

At the World Athletics Championships in Seville in 1999 , he was fifth in the individual competition and in the 4 x 100 meter relay . In the semifinals, he broke Leszek Dunecki's 20-year-old national record (20.24 s) with 19.98 s . In 2000 he reached the quarter-finals at the Olympic Games in Sydney and was eighth in the Polish relay.

After a semi-final at the 2001 World Championships in Edmonton, he won gold at the Universiade of the same year and at the European Athletics Indoor Championships in 2002 in Vienna. At the European Championships in Munich he made it to the final in the individual competition, but did not reach the goal, and won silver with the Polish team in the 4 x 100 meter relay. In 2003 he reached the quarter-finals at the 2003 World Championships and was fifth in the season.

In 2004, a sixth place at the World Indoor Championships in Budapest was followed by a second Olympic participation. While he was eliminated in the individual competition in the quarterfinals, he came in fifth place with the Polish relay. At the European Indoor Championships in Madrid in 2005 , he won bronze.

Marcin Urbaś was the singer of the technical death metal band Sceptic from 1998 to 2000 .
