Adem Gezici (born August 20, 1983 in Alucra ) is a Turkish football player .

Player career

society

Gezici began with club football in the youth department of the Istanbul amateur club Esenler SK and in 1998 moved to the youth department of Fenerbahçe Istanbul . For the 2000/01 season he was accepted by the head coach of the professional team, Mustafa Denizli , in the professional training team. In the cup encounter on November 29, 2000 against Siirt Jet-Pa Spor , Gezici was substituted on by Denizli and also scored his first goal. In the further course of the season Gezici was not used, but was in the team squad. With his club he finished the season as Turkish champions . In the summer of 2001 he was awarded a professional contract and then loaned to Yıldırım Bosnaspor and İzmirspor for a period of half a season in order to gain experience .

For the 2002/03 season Gezici left Fenerbahçe and moved to Istanbul third division club Kartalspor . In the following years Gezici went through several stations without being able to establish himself with an association. Only at the third division Zeytinburnuspor did he prevail and scored 17 league goals in one and a half seasons. In the spring of 2007 he moved to the third division Boluspor . With this club he finished the 2006/07 season as a third division champion and rose to the TFF 1st Lig , the second highest Turkish division. Despite this success, he left Boluspor at the end of the season and moved with Güngören Belediyespor to another Istanbul third division club. With this club he established himself quickly and achieved promotion with this via the play-off victory of the league. Gezici contributed eight goals to this success, including two in the play-off phase, and was thus instrumental in the success. After one and a half seasons in the 2nd division for Güngören Belediyespor, Gezici moved to the second half of the season to league rivals Samsunspor . After he could not assert himself here until the end of the season, his contract was terminated prematurely.

After stint at the third division clubs Turgutluspor and Tarsus İdman Yurdu , Gezici continued his career as an amateur player from spring 2012.
