Alucra

Alucra is a Turkish city ​​and at the same time the administrative center of the district of the same name in the province of Giresun . The city is located about 75 km southeast of the provincial capital Giresun and is home to about 37 percent of the district's population (2018).

The district of Alucra borders on the districts of Çamoluk , Şebinkarahisar , Yağlıdere and Güce and to the east on three districts of the Gümüşhane province . In addition to the district town, it consists of 38 villages ( Köy ) with an average of 203 residents. The largest village is Yeşilyurt (530 inhabitants). The second largest district is the most sparsely populated district in the province with a population density of 11 (provincial average: 64.6 inhabitants per km²).
