Çamoluk is a Turkish city ​​and at the same time the administrative center of the district of the same name in the province of Giresun . The city is about 90 km (186 km by road) south of the provincial capital Giresun .

district

Çamoluk County borders on Alucra County in the north and Şebinkarahisar County in the northwest . In addition, the provinces of Sivas and Erzincan form the border in the south, and finally the province of Gümüşhane in the east . The district has a third of the population density of the provincial average (2018: 22 of 65 inhabitants per km²).

The newly formed district was split off from the southern part of the Alucra district in 1990. Until then, all places belonged to the Bucak Çamoluk of this district. The last population information before the change of area comes from the 1985 census and showed 13,351 inhabitants, of which 1,751 inhabitants for the Bucak main town ( Bucak Merkezi ) Çamoluk.

At the end of 2018, in addition to the district town, the district still consisted of 27 villages ( Köy ) with an average of 216 inhabitants per village (total population of all villages: 5,821 inhabitants). The Karadikmen village is the largest with 599 inhabitants.
