The Adriana was a cruise ship of the Tropicana Cruises shipping company and was built in 1972 for Hellenic Mediterranean Lines (HML) as Aquarius in Perama, Athens , Greece .

history

The ship was built by United Shipping Yard in Greece and launched on September 15, 1971. In June 1972 it was delivered to Hellenic Mediterranean Lines. It sailed under the Greek flag with its home port of Piraeus and was used in the Mediterranean.

In 1987 the ship was sold to Jadranska Linijska Plovidba and renamed Adriana . Rijeka in Yugoslavia became the new home port . The ship was then rebuilt in the same year at Brodogradiliste DD Rijeka.

In the 1990s the ship was sold to Jadrolinija Cruises , and Kingstown in St. Vincent became its new home port . In June 1992 Rijeka Cruises / Jadrolinija took over the ship, the home port was Rijeka , Croatia .

In November 1997 Marina Cruises took over the ship, home port again became Kingstown in St. Vincent .

In 2008 Tapas Inc bought the ship and renamed it Adriana III . Home port was Port Vila , Vanuatu .

In 2010 the ship was renamed Adriana . Since September 2010 she has been sailing under the flag of St. Kitts and Nevis . In addition to the Havana - Isla de la Juventud - Trinidad (Cuba) - Santiago de Cuba - Holguín - Jamaica route , the ship will be deployed from Havana , Cuba on the Cuba- Mexico route in 2012 . In 2013 the ship was used by B&BS on the Black Sea, Mediterranean and Baltic Sea. 2014 ran Adriana of Sochi from Novorossiysk , Sevastopol , Istanbul and Yalta and returned to Sochi without the Ukrainian Odessa to run. The small cruise ship has since been in Port of Spain and sailed in the Caribbean. On July 19, 2019, the ship was sold for demolition in Aliağa. On July 31, 2019, the ship was stranded in Aliağa for demolition .
