African Nations Cup 2020 / Qualification

The qualification for the African Nations Cup 2020 took place from April 20 to October 20, 2019. 48 African national teams have registered for the qualification, 16 qualified. Host Cameroon qualified directly.

mode

The qualification took place in two-leg mode within the individual zones of the Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF), sometimes over several rounds. The away goal rule was used here. In the event of a tie, a penalty shoot-out decision was sought immediately . There was no extension.

North zone

The winners qualify for the 2020 Nations Cup. The games took place on September 20 and October 18 and 20, 2019.
