Agios Georgios ( Greek Άγιος Γεώργιος ) is a municipality in the Limassol district in Cyprus . At the 2011 census it had 111 inhabitants.

Location and surroundings

Agios Georgios is located in the southern center of the island of Cyprus at an altitude of 474 meters, about 55 km southwest of the capital Nicosia , 16 km northwest of Limassol and 42 km northeast of Paphos .

The place is located about 16 km from the Mediterranean Sea in the interior of the island south of the Troodos Mountains . The river Kouris flows past the place to the east and leads into the Kouris Reservoir to the south . The main road B8 from Limassol also runs to the east to the north into the mountains.

Places in the area are Silikou in the north, Laneia in the northeast, Doros and Monagri in the east, Alassa in the southeast and Lofou in the west.
