Albert Ottomar Ferdinand Hagemeier called von Niebelschütz (born November 25, 1805 in Berlin ; † July 7, 1880 in Guhrau in the administrative district of Breslau ) was a Prussian lieutenant general and most recently inspector of the 1st artillery inspection.

His unmarried parents were the major a. D. from Infantry Regiment No. 25 ("Alt-Larisch") , Hans Balthasar Moritz von Niebelschütz (* 1781; † August 28, 1846), landlord on Tschistey (in the district of Wohlau , from 1818 in the district of Guhrau ) and Klein -Beltsch (he married Julie von Liebermann in 1811), and Friederike Wilhelmine Hagemeier. Albert's father was the Freemason of the grand lodge of the three globes in Berlin in 1817 .

Career

He joined the 5th Artillery Brigade as a gunner on September 1, 1822. From 1824 to 1826 Hagemeier was posted to the United Artillery and Engineering School for training . At that time he was appointed portepeef ensign on November 13, 1824, and after his return on December 31, 1827, aggregated second lieutenant . From 1834 to 1836 he was then used as an adjutant in the 5th Artillery Brigade. He was promoted to Premier Lieutenant on November 14, 1841 . Since he was born by his aunt Sophie von Thierbach, b. von Niebelschütz, was adopted, he was raised to the Prussian nobility on April 23, 1842 under the name Hagemeier called von Niebelschütz and the settlement of the paternal coat of arms of those of Niebelschütz . He received the nobility diploma on February 4, 1843. On May 22, 1858 to lieutenant colonel , on April 21, 1859 he received the Order of the Red Eagle, 4th class and on May 25, 1860 the Order of the Red Eagle, 3rd class with ribbon. On July 1, 1860, he was made a colonel and transferred as a brigadier to the 8th Artillery Brigade. On October 18, 1861 he received the Order of the Crown, 3rd Class, and on April 7, 1863, the Turkish Mecidiye Order, 3rd Class . He was then promoted to major general on June 25, 1864 and at the same time appointed commander of the 8th Artillery Brigade. But on October 2, 1865, he was transferred to the 1st artillery inspection as an inspector. There he was appointed lieutenant general on December 31, 1866 and on January 18, 1867 he was also awarded the Order of the Red Eagle, 2nd class with oak leaves. On January 7, 1868, he was then put to the disposition with a pension , and he was awarded the star for the Order of the Red Eagle. He died on July 7, 1880 in Guhrau in the Breslau district.

He married on May 14, 1833 in Posen Wilhelmine Franziska Alexandrine von Jaenichen (born March 31, 1814 - February 14, 1836), a daughter of Lieutenant General von Jaenichen . After the death of his first wife, he married on September 28, 1839 in Posen Agnes Henriette Charlotte Hünke (born January 19, 1822 - † May 27, 1871), a daughter of the judiciary and manorial estate owner of Stentsch Karl Friedrich Hünke (1795-1870).
