Alex "Skim Milk" Jacob (born October 27, 1984 in Houston , Texas ) is a professional American poker player .

Career

In May 2006, joined Jacob graduated with a degree in economics and mathematics at Yale University from. Then he started playing poker professionally.

Even before graduating, he finished second at the Main Event of the World Poker Tour in Mashantucket and won over $ 655,000  . At the subsequent World Series of Poker (WSOP) at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas , he reached two final tables and made four prizes in total. In October 2006, Jacob became the youngest winner of the United States Poker Championship . He scored three cashes and a third place at an event of the variant No-Limit Hold'em , for which he received more than 280,000 US dollars. At the 2009 WSOP , Jacob finished fourth, worth around $ 190,000. Since then there have been no major tournament successes.

Overall, Jacob has earned over $ 2.5 million in poker in live tournaments. He is known for his courtesy and athletic fairness in poker tournaments.
