For the 2013/14 season he is scheduled in the professional squad and will be given the number 35. After Gökdemir was sent to the second team by the new coach Tayfun Korkut in January 2014 , he switched until the end of the season on loan to the Turkish Süper Lig to Sanica Boru Elazığspor .

In the Süper Lig he had a short appearance on matchday 20 against Kayserispor . Until the 25th matchday he was regularly in the league line-up of the Turkish first division club, but was not used. In Türkiye Kupasi 2013/14 he made a total of two games over the full distance. In the defeat against Antalyaspor he played in defensive midfield, in the 4-1 win against Tokatspor he played as usual as a central defender. He sustained an injury in mid-March and was out for the rest of the season. Not least because of this, he could not apply for a further engagement in Turkey and returned to Hanover after the loan expired.

There he scored his first international goal and the only goal of the game.
