Sheikh Ali bin Chalid Al Thani ( Arabic علي بن خالد آل ثاني, DMG ʿAlī b. Ḫālid Āl Ṯānī , English transcription Ali bin Khalid Al Thani ; * September 1, 1982 ) is a show jumper from Qatar .

In April 2016 he was in 21st place in the world rankings. With the Qatari team he won the silver medal at the Pan-Arab Games in 2011, and he was also fifth in the individual ranking. At the Asian Games in 2014 he won the gold medal with the Qatari team. Two years later he came in sixth place in the individual ranking at the Olympic Games.

Al Thani trains in Europe, among others, with the Dutch horse dealer Jan Tops in Valkenswaard and with the German show jumper and trainer Karl Schneider on the Rodderberg near Bonn .
