Aljava (German Aljawa ) is a village ( Estonian küla ) on the third largest Estonian island of Muhu . It belongs to the rural community of the same name ( Muhu vald ) in the Saare district ( Saare maakond ).

Aljava is located directly on the Baltic Sea . The place has 7 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2011).

It goes back to the Hallichavo servants , which was first mentioned in 1645.
