Kesse (until 1977 Kesselaiu ) is a village ( Estonian küla ) on the Estonian island of Kesselaid (German Schildau , Swedish Skjöldö ).

The place is on the east coast of the island. It has seven residents (as of December 31, 2011).
The settlement goes back to the yeoman community who settled on the island in the 16th century. It was recorded in 1627 under the name Skolde .
The village belongs administratively to the rural community of Muhu ( Muhu vald ) in the Saare district ( Saare maakond ).
