Allee der Kosmonauten was a Christian rock group consisting of Mischa Marin ( vocals ) and Jürgen “Jott” Fürwitt ( drums ) and their four-piece live band. The group emerged from a formation called Kyd Moses .

Kyd Moses
The cast of Kyd Moses consisted of Christian Ettinger (1994–1997), Uli König (1997–1999), Ziggy Holzmann (1994–2003), Mischa Marin (since 1994) and Jürgen Fürwitt (since 1994).
In 1995 the first single Kinder der Nacht was released by BMG / Hansa. In 1997 the album U-Topic was recorded, but it was never released because the band had previously separated from the record label. The second single Brich mir dein Herz was released in 1998 on the Arcade label. The album Delphine , which was recorded in the same year, was also not released because the label went bankrupt.
In 1999 the band accompanied Nena for half a year as support on a tour through Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In 2000 there was a change of name after turning to the Christian faith. From then on the group was called "Allee der Kosmonauten".
Avenue of the Cosmonauts
The first two singles Brich mir Dein Herz and Schneetrick were released by Grönland, the label of their discoverer Herbert Grönemeyer , from whom they separated in 2002. In 2003 guitarist Ziggy Holzmann left the band in order to reorient himself professionally.
In the following year the musicians initiated the project “ Marks of the Times” , for which they wrote songs and got other well-known artists to collaborate (e.g. Rolf Stahlhofen , Xavier Naidoo , Patrick Nuo , Ben , Laith Al-Deen , Sarah Brendel , Judy Bailey and Paddy Kelly ). The first single You are not alone reached number 8 in the German single charts.
In 2003 the band appeared for the first time in a Christian context at a short concert in the fully occupied Waldbühne during the Ecumenical Church Congress in Berlin. The album “ Signs of the Times” was released in 2004, and alongside the musicians mentioned above, Katy Karrenbauer , Edo Zanki , Jazzkantine , Cappuccino , Yvonne Catterfeld , W4C , Beatbetrieb , Marta Jandová ( Die Happy ) were there.
Also in 2004 the book Kinder der Sehnsucht (author: Steffen Kern) was published, which tells the story of the "wild rock band Kyd Moses" and the Christian band Allee der Kosmonauten. In the same year her single I would like to know reached number 86 in the German single charts.
During the 2004 tour, the live band formed with Michael Heise (bass), Andreas Mette (guitar), Dee Rosario (guitar) and Lars Peter (keyboard). The band entered u. a. on at Jesus House, Pro Christ, Maiday, Ascension Festival, as headliner at the Power of Love Festival at the Protestant Kirchentag 2005.
In 2005 they achieved 3rd place in the German preliminary round of the Eurovision Song Contest with the title “Dein Lied” . This was followed by a tour through Germany, Austria and Switzerland with over 60 concerts. Allee der Kosmonauten was probably the first music group to appear in the “ Current Sports Studio ” on ZDF with Johannes B. Kerner , where they spoke about their belief in Jesus Christ. The troupe was accompanied by Marcelo Bordon ( FC Schalke 04 ) on the saxophone, who is also a Christian. Also the reception at the State Chancellery in Mainz by Kurt Beck and the appearance there had not been granted to any band before.
In 2006 there was a new edition of the project “ Marks of the Times” with the album “David Generation”. The single “Ich carry dich” hit the charts, but fell short of the success of the first single You are not alone . At the end of 2006 the album "Lobpreis" was released.
After an extensive tour in 2007, the group produced the film Lauter singen in 2008 , which tells the story of the band and documents it with music, live excerpts and private original recordings throughout the years. The film was presented at the Christival 2008 in Bremen, but has not yet been released. In 2008 Jott Fürwitt left the band to devote himself to other projects. Jott Fürwitt commented only vaguely: It was "the time to do new things". Exact reasons for the separation are not yet known. The band gave a few more concerts as Allee der Kosmonauten. In 2009 the "GooGs" were created, in which Jott Fürwitt plays guitar and sings. Fürwitt 2011 .: “It was time to dissolve ADK, it was a nice and good phase, but in the end a lot was repeated ... despite the success. Now I can finally make honest music again ... ”The“ GooGs ”released their first EP in 2010 and their first album in 2011. From 2009 Marin performed under his name with the band's musicians. In 2010 the debut album of the stadtklangfluss project appeared , in which Marin was involved. In January 2012 Marin released his solo debut album The majority of luck . In addition, a follow-up project to Allee der Kosmonauten called Rakete was apparently planned. The album, which had already been announced for 2010, was not released.
In 2015 at the latest, when Mischa and Jott together again for the first time in the video "You are not alone" by the band " Why Lila ?" (Cover of the "Signs of the Times" single), there were rumors of a reunion of the band.
At GooGs there were line-up changes in 2017/2018 after Dirk Scherer (Git) and Jo Schmidt (Drums) left the band. On the guitar is now the former bassist of Kyd Moses Uli König (1997–1999), so we come full circle here. With Andy Klein on drums, who had previously played at Snailshouse, a new drummer has been found.
