Alois Pfeiffer
Alois Pfeiffer (born September 25, 1924 in Bauerbach ; † August 1, 1987 in Düsseldorf ) was a German trade unionist and politician ( SPD ).
Pfeiffer learned the profession of forest worker and studied at the Academy of Labor . He then held several positions in the horticulture, agriculture and forestry union and was in charge of it from 1969 to 1975. Pfeiffer was a member of the European Commission from 1985 until his death and was responsible for economics and currency.
