description
The complex to be addressed as the predecessor of the Tannenberg Castle 700 m to the east stood on the "old hilltop", where a crescent-shaped moat can still be seen. The location indicates the residence of a local nobleman. Remnants of the wall, if any, are no longer there. Alt-Tannenburg probably continued to exist for some time alongside the new building.
history
