Amphoe Noen Sa-nga | ( Thai : อำเภอ เนิน สง่า ) is a county ( amphoe - administrative district) in Chaiyaphum Province . The province of Chaiyaphum is located in the northeast region of Thailand , the so-called Isan .

geography

The county administration is located about 30 kilometers south of the provincial capital Chaiyaphum .

Neighboring districts (clockwise from the east): Ban Lueam , Khong and Phra Thong Kham in Nakhon Ratchasima Province and Chatturat , Ban Khwao and Mueang Chaiyaphum in Chaiyaphum Province.

history

On April 1, 1992, Noen Sa-nga was initially set up as a "branch circle" ( King Amphoe ) by separating the three tambon Nong Chim, Ta Noen and Kahad from the Chatturat district . On October 11, 1997, Noen Sa-nga was granted full amphoe status.
