Amphoe Ban Lueam ( Thai : อำเภอ บ้านเหลื่อม ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district) in the north of the province of Nakhon Ratchasima . The province of Nakhon Ratchasima is located in the northeast region of Thailand , the so-called Isan .

geography

Ban Lueam District borders the following counties (from north clockwise) to the Amphoe Kaeng Sanam Nang , Bua Yai and Khong in the province of Nakhon Ratchasima, and to di Amphoe Noen Sa-nga and Mueang Chaiyaphum of Chaiyaphum province .

history

Ban Lueam was initially set up on October 18, 1976 as a "branch circle" ( King Amphoe ) by separating the tambon Ban Lueam, Wang Pho and Khok Krabueang from the Amphoe Khong . On January 1, 1988, it was promoted to Amphoe.

The district of Ban Lueam is divided into four tambon ("sub-districts" or "parishes"), which are further subdivided into 39 muban ("villages").

There is one municipality with "small town" status ( Thesaban Tambon ) in the district:

  • Ban Lueam (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล บ้านเหลื่อม ), consisting of parts of the tambon Ban Lueam and Wang Pho.
