Amphoe Kham Thale So ( Thai : อำเภอ ขามทะเลสอ ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district) in the province of Nakhon Ratchasima . The province of Nakhon Ratchasima is located in the northeast region of Thailand , the so-called Isan .

geography

Amphoe Kham Thale So borders the following counties (clockwise from north): Amphoe Non Thai , Mueang Nakhon Ratchasima , Sung Noen and Dan Khun Thot . All Amphoe are in Nakhon Ratchasima Province.

history

Kham Thale So was first set up in 1958 as a "branch circle" ( King Amphoe ) by separating its area from Amphoe Non Thai and Amphoe Sung Noen . In 1965 it was officially promoted to Amphoe.

  • Phan Dung (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล พัน ดุ ง ), consisting of the entire Tambon Phan Dung.
  • Kham Thale So (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล ขามทะเลสอ ), consisting of parts of the Tambon Kham Thale So.

There are also four " Tambon Administrative Organizations " ( องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - Tambon Administrative Organizations, TAO):

  • Kham Thale So (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล ขามทะเลสอ )
  • Pong Daeng (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล โป่ง แดง )
