Amphoe Kham Sakaesaeng ( Thai : อำเภอ ขามสะแกแสง ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district) in the north of the province of Nakhon Ratchasima . The province of Nakhon Ratchasima is located in the northeast region of Thailand , the so-called Isan .

Amphoe Kham Sakaesaeng borders the following counties (clockwise from north): Amphoe Khong , Non Sung , Non Thai and Phra Thong Kham . All Amphoe are in Nakhon Ratchasima Province.

history

Kham Sakaesaeng was initially set up on November 25, 1968 as a “branch circle” ( King Amphoe ) by separating the two tambon Kham Sakaesaeng and Mueang Nat from the Amphoe Non Sung . On June 28, 1973, it was officially promoted to Amphoe.

The district of Kham Sakaesaeng is divided into seven tambon ("subdistricts" or "parishes"), which are further divided into 72 muban ("villages").

Local administration

There are three municipalities with "small town" status ( Thesaban Tambon ) in the district:

  • Non Mueang (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล โนน เมือง ), consisting of the entire tambon Non Mueang.
  • Kham Sakaesaeng (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล ขามสะแกแสง ), consisting of parts of the Tambon Kham Sakaesaeng.
  • Nong Hua Fan (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล หนอง หัว ฟาน ), consisting of parts of the Tambon Nong Hua Fan and Mueang Nat.

There are also six " Tambon Administrative Organizations " ( องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - Tambon Administrative Organizations, TAO):

  • Mueang Nat (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล เมือง นาท )
