Amphoe Soeng Sang ( Thai : อำเภอ เสิงสาง ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district) in the southeast of the province of Nakhon Ratchasima . The province of Nakhon Ratchasima is located in the northeast region of Thailand , the so-called Isan .

Soeng Sang district borders the following counties (clockwise from the north): Nong Ki , Non Suwan , Pakham and Non Din Daeng district of Buriram province , Watthana Nakhon district of Sa Kaeo province , and Khon Buri district of the province Nakhon Ratchasima.

history

Soeng Sang was first established on May 7, 1976 as a "branch circle" ( King Amphoe ) by separating its area from Amphoe Khon Buri . At that time it consisted of a single tambon Sa Takhian. On March 25, 1979, it was officially promoted to Amphoe.

There are two municipalities with "small town" status ( Thesaban Tambon ) in the district:

  • Non Sombun (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล โนน สมบูรณ์ ), consisting of parts of the Tambon Non Sombun.
  • Soeng Sang (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล เสิงสาง ), consisting of parts of the Tambon Soeng Sang.

There are also six " Tambon Administrative Organizations " ( องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - Tambon Administrative Organizations, TAO):
