Amphoe Non Daeng ( Thai : อำเภอ โนน แดง ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district) in the northeast of the Nakhon Ratchasima Province . The province of Nakhon Ratchasima is located in the northeast region of Thailand , the so-called Isan .

Amphoe Non Daeng borders the following counties (clockwise from the north): Amphoe Sida , Prathai , Phimai , Khong and Bua Yai . All Amphoe are in Nakhon Ratchasima Province.

history

The village of Non Daeng was elevated to a tambon of Bua Yai district in 1965 . It later became part of the Prathai district . On April 1, 1989, Non Daeng was established as a "branch circle" ( King Amphoe ) by separating its area from the Prathai district along with the tambon Non Ta Then, Sam Phaniang and Wang Hin. The fifth tambon Don Yao Yai was added on August 1, 1989. On October 20, 1993, the small district was promoted to Amphoe.

Non Daeng County is divided into five tambon ("subdistricts" or "municipalities"), which are further subdivided into 65 muban ("villages").

Local administration

There are two municipalities with "small town" status ( Thesaban Tambon ) in the district:

  • Wang Hin (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล วัง หิน ), consisting of the entire tambon Wang Hin.
  • Non Daeng (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล โนน แดง ), consisting of parts of the Tambon Non Daeng.

There are also four " Tambon Administrative Organizations " ( องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - Tambon Administrative Organizations, TAO):

  • Non Daeng (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล โนน แดง )
  • Non Ta Then (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล โนน ตา เถร )
  • Sam Phaniang (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล สำ พะเนียง )
  • Don Yao Yai (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล ดอน ยาว ใหญ่ )
