Amphoe Kaeng Sanam Nang ( Thai : อำเภอ แก้ง สนาม นาง ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district) in the north of the province of Nakhon Ratchasima . The province of Nakhon Ratchasima is located in the northeast region of Thailand , the so-called Isan .

Kaeng Sanam Nang District borders the following counties (from north clockwise) to the Amphoe Mueang Chaiyaphum and Khon Sawan in Chaiyaphum province to Amphoe Waeng Noi of Khon Kaen province , and to the Amphoe Bua Yai and Ban Lueam province Nakhon Ratchasima.

history

Kaeng Sanam Nang was initially set up on January 7, 1986 as a "branch circle" ( King Amphoe ) by separating the four tambon Kaeng Sanam Nang, Non Samran, Bueng Phalai and Si Suk from the Bua Yai district . It was officially promoted to Amphoe on October 20, 1993.
