Amy Sloan

Amy Kathleen Sloan (* 12. May 1978 in Gladstone , Manitoba ) is a Canadian actress .

Life

Sloan was born in Gladstone, Manitoba and grew up in Whitehorse , Yukon . Her mother is the actress Mary Sloan. Her father temporarily served as Minister of Health for the Yukon region. Amy Sloan graduated from the National Theater School of Canada in 1999 . She made her debut in the Canadian SF thriller XChange from 2000. In the television thriller Wicked Minds (2002), she appeared on the side of Angie Everhart .

Sloan played one of the leading roles in the Canadian drama Jack & Ella (2002). In the thriller Crimes of Passion (2005) she was seen in a larger role at the side of Dina Meyer . She played another major role in the crime comedy Crime Fiction from 2007.
