Ana Celia de Armas Caso (born April 30, 1988 in Santa Cruz del Norte ) is a Cuban actress of Spanish descent.

life and career

Ana de Armas was born on April 30, 1988 in the Cuban city of Santa Cruz del Norte . She grew up in Havana , where she attended drama school at the Teatro Nacional de Cuba from the age of 14 . She graduated after four years, but at the age of 16 she made her film debut alongside Álex González in Una rosa de Francia by Manuel Gutiérrez Aragón . As a 19-year-old, the Cuban, who also has Spanish citizenship due to her grandparents from Palencia and León , finally moved to Spain, where she was increasingly used as an actress.
