Andrea Bertolacci (born January 11, 1991 in Rome ) is an Italian football player who is active for Sampdoria Genoa .

Career

societies

Bertolacci had started playing soccer in the youth team of AS Roma in 2006 and went through the local youth teams before he was promoted to the professional squad in 2009. However, he was not used there for the time being and was awarded to the US Lecce from 2010 to 2012 in order to gain experience . For this he completed 41 games and scored six goals. After the loan ended, he left AS Roma in 2012 and joined CFC Genoa . In his first season he became an integral part of the team and established himself in the Serie A . For the 2015/16 season Bertolacci moved to AC Milan . After two seasons, Bertolacci was awarded to his ex-club CFC Genoa in the summer of 2017. In the 2018/19 season he did not appear in the league and left Milan after the season. He then switched to Sampdoria Genoa .

National team

Since 2006, Bertolacci went through all youth teams up to the Italian U-21 , with whom he took part in the U-21 European Championship in Israel under coach Devis Mangia . There he scored his only goal in the junior selections in his only appearance against Norway's U-21s . At the end of the tournament, they were runner-up in Europe by losing to Spain in the final .

After Bertolacci was invited by Cesare Prandelli to a course for the Italian national team in the spring of 2014, Bertolacci made his first assignment for the Squadra Azzurra in autumn 2014 . Antonio Conte nominated Bertolacci for the games against Croatia and Albania . Bertolacci made his Azzurri debut against Albania on November 18 against Croatia . Bertolacci was also a regular member of the squad in 2015, playing in both the European Championship qualification and the friendly against Portugal . The last of his five games so far, he played against Norway on October 13, 2015 . Since then it has not been taken into account.
