Andreas Jähnert (* 1985 in Zeulenroda , GDR ) is a German theater actor and director .

Life

Jähnert completed his training at the Berlin School of Drama after having trained as a farmer in Thuringia. In 2012 he taught acting at the University of Battambang , Cambodia , where he performed the play Pka Sropoun based on the novella by Nou Hach.

His subsequent engagements included plays at the Franconian Theater Maßbach , the Schauspielhaus Neubrandenburg , the Komische Oper Berlin and the Wuppertal theaters . At the Vorarlberger Landestheater , where he also directed, he played various roles, including a. the Sebastian in Shakespeare's What you want , the Hofmarschall von Kalb in Schiller's Cabal and Love and in Schnitzler's Reigen . In addition, he played the clotho at the Schwetzingen Castle Festival in Proserpina in 2009 .

In 2014 Jähnert worked with Martin Gruber on the play Angry Young Men , which in 2015 was dubbed “Performance of the Month” by the theater and culture magazine Die Bühne .

The theater of speech errors was founded in 2016 by Andreas Jähnert and Christian Kühne. You will deal with text and theater forms in which multilingualism plays an important role. They are interested in actors who deal with words and different languages ​​and try to combine them. Artists from different branches of the performing arts come together in the collective theater der sprach Fehler, who use contemporary and classical modes of expression (video, text and drama) to investigate the devastating effect of language on people.
