Andreas Koebner

Andreas Köbner (born October 11, 1951 in Mannheim , Baden-Württemberg ) is a German composer who mainly writes film music .

Life

Andreas Köbner was born in Mannheim in 1951. As a child he had music lessons, first flute, then piano lessons at the Heidelberg Conservatory.

After graduating from high school in Heidelberg , he studied from 1970 to 1975 at the University of Television and Film Munich , department of feature film. From 1974 to 1979 he worked as an author, film editor, camera and sound engineer.

In 1975 he began many years of private music studies with two professors emeritus from the Munich University of Music, K. Bohnen, piano and K. Strohm, composition. The first film music orders came in 1976, since 1979 he has been living off his work as a film composer, but also increasingly writes autonomous music . Now and then he works as a lecturer. He lives in Munich.
