Andreas Morczinietz (born March 11, 1978 in Wolfratshausen , Bavaria ) is a German ice hockey player who has been under contract with the EC Hannover Indians from the ice hockey league since the 2017/18 season .

Career

The 1.86 m tall winger began his career at TuS Geretsried in the second highest German division, which was referred to as the first division . After two seasons in the group south of the 1st league, he moved in 1997 to the league competitor EC Bad Nauheim in the northern season. For the 1998/99 season , the left shooter signed a contract with GEC Nordhorn , which he left after only one and a half years for Bad Nauheim.

In 2001 the attacker was committed by the Augsburg Panthers from the German Ice Hockey League , who handed him over to the Kölner Haie after a year . After two years in Cologne, Morczinietz signed a contract with the Hannover Scorpions . In December 2007, Andreas Morczinietz moved to Lower Saxony's league rivals Grizzly Adams Wolfsburg . For the 2011/2012 season he moved back to Hanover, where he initially continued to play in the DEL. In the 2016/2017 season he went on the ice for the ESC Wedemark Scorpions in the Oberliga Nord .
