Andrew Pattison (born January 30, 1949 in Pretoria , South Africa ) is a retired Zimbabwean tennis player .

Life

Pattison was able to win four singles and seven doubles titles in the course of his career. He reached his highest ranking in the tennis world rankings in 1974 with position 24 in singles and 1983 with position 74 in doubles. In 1974 he played for the Denver Racquets in the World Team Tennis League.

His best individual result at a Grand Slam tournament was reaching the quarter-finals of the US Open 1975. After victories, including over John Alexander , he clearly failed with 2: 6, 1: 6 and 2: 6 to Jimmy Connors . In the doubles competition, he reached the quarter-finals of the French Open and the US Open twice , and he was three times in the second round of the Wimbledon Championships . In mixed , he was in the third round of Wimbledon in 1972.
