Annett Jalowi (* 1981 in Schlema as Annett Finger ) is a German triathlete , endurance athlete and European triathlon champion among amateurs (2012).

Career

Annett Finger grew up in Glauchau and started triathlon in 2008.

At her first start over the long distance as part of the Challenge Roth , Annett Finger finished 17th as the best amateur in the Frauenfeld in 2009 (3.8 km swimming, 180 km cycling and 42.2 km running).

She is also active in endurance sports in other areas and so she crossed the Alps on foot in eight days at the Transalpine Run in 2010 .

In 2012 she was European triathlon champion in the middle distance for amateurs in the 30-34 age group. In August she won one of the toughest long-distance races with a new course record at the Norseman Xtreme Triathlon .

Triathlon professional since 2013

In 2013 Annett Finger started for the TSG Glauchau club with a focus on the medium and long distance. In November 2016, she was ninth on the long distance at Ironman Mexico .

She has been married since May 2017 and has started as Annett Jalowi since then .

In July 2017 she was twelfth at the Ironman European Championships in Frankfurt am Main.
