Hessentag 2003

The Hessentag 2003 was the 43rd Hessentag . The festival took place in Bad Arolsen (Waldeck district) from June 13th to June 22nd, 2003.

Under the motto "Mood, partying, open air - the Hessentag with great flair!" around 780,000 guests visited the city.

20 million euros were invested in organizing the Hessentag. The Hessentag was opened on June 13, 2003 by the then Prime Minister Roland Koch in front of more than 1,000 spectators. Around 800 events took place. The venues included the Hessen Palace (Comedy), the Königsberg marquee, the palace stage and the Mengeringhausen town hall .
