The Hessentag 2015 was the 55th Hessentag . It took place from May 29th to June 7th in Hofgeismar , where it was held for the second time since 1978 . About 750,000 visitors were counted.

Hessentag couple

The Hessentag couple was formed by Rebecca Ross and Andreas Richhardt. They appeared as "Sleeping Beauty and the Prince".

Hessentagsradio

The Hessentagsradio was looked after by the Free Radio Kassel and the Medienblitz association. Live broadcasts, interviews, event information and information about and from Hessentag were reported daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Concerts and events

Various concerts and events were offered, with the Hessischer Rundfunk as the largest organizer. Participants included Andrea Berg , Revolverheld , Herbert Grönemeyer , You FM Night with Max Herre , Clueso , Kwabs and Joris , Kastelruther Spatzen , Max Mutzke and Laith Al-Deen with the hr-Bigband , Badesalz , Manfred Mann's Earth Band , Planet radio Night with the DJs Philip George and Jan Leyk , Die Fantastischen Vier , Hubert von Goisern , the Rodgau Monotones , Hit Radio FFH Just White Party with Bakermat , Mark Forster , The Disco Boys , Felix Jaehn , Lost Frequencies and Krystal Roxx . The concerts with the largest audience were the Just White Party with 30,000 visitors, Die Fantastischen Vier and Andrea Berg with 8,000 visitors each and Herbert Grönemeyer with 12,000 visitors. Almost 3,000 participants took part in the two-kilometer-long festival parade, which was followed by over 100,000 spectators.
