The Hessentag 1995 was the 35th Hessentag and was welcomed with the slogan Hessian! from June 23 to July 2, 1995 in the largest city by population of the Schwalm-Eder district , Schwalmstadt instead.

The Hessentag was opened by Prime Minister Hans Eichel (SPD) and Mayor Wilhelm Kröll. Alexandra Ries and Ulrich May formed the Hessentag couple.

In addition to the traditional parade, the program also included a two-day open-air festival at the Ziegenhain airfield. The Hessentagsstraße, on which more craftsmen than commercial suppliers could be found, led through Treysa. A total of around 760,000 visitors were counted over the ten days.
