The Hessentag 1994 was the 34th Hessentag and took place with the slogan Ganz Hessen in 10 days from June 3 to 12, 1994 in the district town of Groß-Gerau in the southern Rhine-Main area .

The Hessentag was opened by Prime Minister Hans Eichel (SPD) and Mayor Manfred Hohl (SPD). The Hessentag couple formed Elke Ziegler-Cristiano and Kai Ewald.

The program included alongside the procession, among other exhibitions of the Augsburg Puppet Theater and Legoland , a vehicle and equipment show the police, a beer tap Championship, a medieval music festival and various contributions to the UNESCO proclaimed the International Year of the Family . Performed artists included u. a. Kim Wilde , Haddaway , Kool & The Gang , Hot Chocolate , the Weather Girls , Georges Moustaki , Boney M. , the Zillertaler Schürzenjäger as well as Klaus Lage and the Merck Chamber Orchestra. The hr3 Clubnight took place on June 11, 1994 with the disk jockeys Sven Väth , Marc Spoon , DJ Dag and over 10,000 ravers . Already on June 3, 1994, the Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt lost 2: 3 to a selection from Hessen in a friendly match . A total of around 680,000 visitors were counted over the 10 days. A new record was set with 140,000 visitors in a single day.
