Antje Nikola Mönning (born February 2, 1978 in Münster ) is a German actress , producer and film composer .

Life

Antje Mönning began her acting training at the Schauspiel Munich school at the age of 21. During her apprenticeship, she played in numerous short films such as B. 2001 in the live production of the HFF Munich under the direction of Michael Dreher .

She had her first TV role in 2003 in the RTL crime series Die Wache , directed by Michael Schneider. This was followed by various other TV engagements. In 2004 she played a continuous role in the RTL series The Secret Life of Gamblers' Women (Ball Feeling) directed by Christine Wiegand in front of the camera, in 2005 for the series Die Familienanwältin directed by Richard Huber and in 2006 a leading role in the episode followed on ZDF - crime series SOKO Cologne . Since 1987 Antje Mönning has played in different theaters all over Germany every year. Her main role as "Bastian" in the operatic version of The Neverending Story directed by Heinz Lukas-Kindermann at the Stadttheater Trier in 2004, as well as the role of a naive dumbass in the stage comedy Amnesie, in which she alongside Petra Nadolny should be mentioned here ( Switch and Switch reloaded ) and Lutz Reichert ( Please ?! and Tatort as Maier 2) played from 2004 to 2005. From 2007 to 2009 Mönning played the role of sister Jenny in the ARD series Um Himmels Willen .

Since 2008 she has been working as producer, actress and assistant director to Roland Reber at wtp international GmbH, Munich. In 2009 she co-produced the film by Roland Reber Engel with dirty wings , in which she also played the lead role. The film caused a lot of media hype before and during its release and was dubbed the " scandal film 2010" due to many sex scenes . In 2010 she was a member of the jury at the renowned SITGES International Film Festival in Spain. She co-produced the 2011 Roland Reber film The Truth of Lies , in which she can be seen in the lead role of the opaque publisher. It was released on March 29, 2012. She also co-produced the movie Illusion , in which she can be seen in the lead role of Nikola. For this film she also composed the music and worked as an assistant director.

She was also involved in the script for the wtp international production The Taste of Life (2017), which celebrated its world premiere at the 51st Hof Film Festival and was shown at numerous international festivals and was shown in German cinemas at the beginning of 2018. She played the main role in it Nikki, whose lyrics she wrote herself. She also composed the music for the film again. In December 2018 she released a music album called “Auszüge” under the artist name “Sister Antje”.

Mönning describes herself as an " exhibitionist ". She perceives sexuality and nudity as “something completely natural” and has “freed herself from any pressure to conform”. She lives this out in the pornographic scenes of her films. In addition, she raffled off a nude photo shoot in the Bild newspaper , was featured in the April 2010 issue of the men's magazine Penthouse with an erotic photo series and gave an interview to the TV station RTL II naked.

After Mönning exposed himself to two plainclothes police officers in a parking lot in June 2018 , a penalty warrant was issued against her for causing public nuisance . Mönning has admitted the facts, but lodged an objection, because she does not consider her behavior to be a criminal offense, according to her lawyer Alexander Stevens , exhibitionism is only criminal for men. The district court of Kaufbeuren Mönning acquitted of the allegation in December 2018 and only sentenced her to a fine of 300 euros for an administrative offense . Against the first instance judgment has leap-frog to the Higher Regional Court of Munich inserted.

Antje Mönning lives in a kind of commune with Roland Reber and two other women in the Munich area.
