Arun Jaitley ( Hindi अरुण जेटली Aruṇ Jeṭalī ; * December 28, 1952 in New Delhi ; † August 24, 2019 there ) was an Indian lawyer and politician of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), and was from May 26, 2014 to May 30, 2014 May 2019 Finance Minister and Defense Minister in the Modi I cabinet .

Degree and lawyer

After his re-election as a member of the Rajya Sabha in the parliamentary elections in India in 2009 , he took over the position of opposition leader there on June 3, 2009 .
