Eutelsat 7 West A ( Nilesat 104 ) is a television satellite of the European Telecommunications Satellite Organization ( Eutelsat ) based in Paris. The original name of the satellite was Atlantic Bird 7 . When Eutelsat changed the naming system of the satellites on March 1, 2012, it was named EUTELSAT 7 West A according to its orbital position 7 ° West.

Atlantic Bird 7 was launched into geostationary orbit by Sea Launch on September 24, 2011, 20:18  UTC with a Zenit-3SL / Blok DM-SL rocket . The Astrium- built satellite replaced at 7 ° West Atlantic Bird 4A , which had been in service there since February 2009.
